Bridge can connect using different audio sources depending on your setup.

You can change this anytime in the app:

Settings → Bridge → Audio

Bluetooth

Use Bluetooth when you want a wireless connection.

In Settings → Bridge → Audio, select Bluetooth.

If Bluetooth won’t connect

  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your Desk Phone or Computer.

  • Keep the Bridge device close to your Desk Phone or Computer.

  • If the app shows an error like “Unable to connect to Bluetooth”, check your Bluetooth connection on your Desk Phone or Computer and try again.

USB

Use USB when you want a wired connection.

In Settings → Bridge → Audio, select USB.

If USB won’t connect

  • Make sure the USB cable is fully plugged in.

  • If using a USB hub, try plugging the Bridge device directly into your Desk Phone or Computer.

  • If the app shows DISCONNECTED, unplug and replug the USB cable and try again.

  • Try using a different USB cable.

Analog (RJ-9)

Use Analog (RJ-9) for an analog phone connection.

In Settings → Bridge → Audio, select Analog (RJ-9.

Important note for RJ-9

When using an RJ-9 connection, captions do not start automatically. On the main screen, press Start captions to begin a captioning session, and the X button in the top right corner in the Caption Screen to stop a session.
