Secondary language (captions)

Bridge supports a secondary caption language for AI captions.

This guide covers:

  • Adding a secondary language from Settings, and

  • Switching between languages on the caption screen during a call.

Add or change your secondary language (Settings)

  1. In the app, go to Settings → Caption Settings.

  2. Tap Secondary.

  3. Search for the language you want.

  4. Tap the language to select it.

The app will return to Caption Settings automatically when you select a language.

Switch between languages on the caption screen

During an active call:

  1. On the caption screen, tap mode in the bottom toolbar.

  2. In Caption mode, choose:

    • AI with your primary language (for example, English), or

    • AI with your secondary language (the subtitle shows the language), or

    • Off to stop captions for the current call.

If you don’t see your secondary language as an option, make sure you selected it in Settings → Caption Settings → Secondary.
