Wired Ethernet with a static IP

Use a static IP for Bridge over wired ethernet.

Before you start

  • Plug an Ethernet cable into your Bridge device.

  • Ask your IT team for:

    • IP address

    • Subnet mask

    • Gateway

Open Ethernet settings

  1. In the app, go to Settings → Bridge → Network.

  2. Confirm Wired Ethernet is selected.

    • If it’s not selectable, make sure the Ethernet cable is plugged in, then wait a moment and try again.

  3. Tap Wired Ethernet to open advanced settings.

Set a static IP

  1. Select Static IP.

  2. Enter:

    • IP Address

    • Subnet Mask

    • Gateway

  3. Tap Continue.
    ​

If it won’t save

  • Make sure all fields are filled in.

  • Confirm each value is in IPv4 format (for example `192.168.1.50`).

  • Confirm the gateway is in the same subnet as the IP address.

  • Confirm the subnet mask is valid.
